Motivation and Aims
All across the world humans provide cognitive support for one another. We remind each other, provide advice, help each other solve problems and keep each other 'on task'.
When a loved one has a cognitive impairment, the family and friends step in to provide cognitive support. The problem is that this extra support can be seen as nagging, thus undermining the basis of the relationship.
Our aim is to simulate the best verbal support that caregivers provide, so that caregivers can avoid 'nagging' and focus on the care relationship.
